O que significa "servidor sem launcher"

Um launcher é um programa separado para iniciar o Minecraft. Alguns servidores exigem o próprio launcher para distribuir uma versão com mods, atualizações ou um sistema de autenticação próprio. Um servidor sem launcher não requer nada disso: você se conecta diretamente pelo cliente normal do jogo, adicionando o endereço à sua lista de servidores. São servidores baseados em plugins (não em modpacks pesados), portanto nenhum software adicional é necessário para entrar.

A ausência de launcher significa comodidade e transparência para o jogador.
