RPG is about developing a character: classes, levels, skills and gear, and it can be played solo. City RP recreates a modern or fictional city with jobs, laws and services — the most common format; among them GTA-style projects with criminal and police factions are especially popular. Themed worlds move roleplay into a specific universe or era: medieval, fantasy, post-apocalypse, well-known franchises. Story servers lead players through a shared narrative with events and twists set by the administrators.
