Серверные ядра не отстают
Paper и Purpur уже поддерживают новую нумерацию. Folia — движок на базе Paper с многопоточной обработкой регионов — рассчитан на крупные серверы и держит 200+ игроков без просадок TPS, когда геймплей разнесён по карте, а плагины совместимы. Velocity заменил BungeeCord как стандартный прокси для крупных сетей. Fabric и NeoForge дают модмейкерам инструменты, которых не было ещё пару лет назад.
Почему серверы, а не Realms?
Realms удобен для игры впятером с друзьями. Но для PvP-лиг на сотни человек, кастомных RPG-миров с квестами или анархии без правил нужны полноценные серверы: свои плагины, уникальные миры, экономика и события, которых нет в ванили.
Как выбрать сервер Minecraft и не пожалеть
Серверов сотни, новые появляются каждый день, старые тихо закрываются. Вот на что смотреть при выборе.
Версия и платформа — проверьте в первую очередь
Сервер под Java Edition не примет игрока с Bedrock, и наоборот. Уточните версию: модпаки чаще живут на 1.16.5, 1.12.2 или 1.8.9, актуальный контент — на 1.21.x и 26.x. В каталоге можно фильтровать по версии и платформе; самые востребованные подборки — серверы 1.16.5, серверы 1.12.2 и Bedrock для телефона.
Лицензия: premium или cracked
Часть проектов работает в режиме online-mode (нужен лицензионный аккаунт Minecraft), часть — в режиме cracked, куда можно зайти без проверки лицензии. Это технический параметр сервера, а не оценка качества — выбирайте под свой клиент. Подборка проектов без проверки лицензии — в фильтре пиратские (cracked) серверы.
Донат: pay-to-win или косметика
Адекватный донат — это косметика, теги и питомцы. Тревожный сигнал — продажа боевого преимущества: незеритовая броня, киты с элитрами и зачарованным снаряжением за деньги. Если за небольшую сумму дают полный боевой комплект, экономика сервера, скорее всего, сломана.
Античит и модерация
Без рабочего античита PvP теряет смысл: Kill Aura, Fly и Reach быстро отпугивают честных игроков. Перед регистрацией стоит зайти в Discord проекта и спросить, какой античит установлен, как быстро банят и есть ли апелляция.
