Players spawn around a central point loaded with the best loot. The opening seconds are the most dangerous moment of the round

Loot Phase — Mid Game
Players spread across the map, open peripheral chests, craft and gather resources
Stay off open ground, track footstep and arrow sounds, and build an inventory ready for the final confrontation

How to choose a Hunger Games server
Check the arena size and maximum players per round — more participants mean a faster and more chaotic finale. Confirm whether the server supports team modes (solo / duo / trio) or strictly FFA. The server version shapes combat feel: 1.8.9 uses classic no-cooldown PvP, while 1.9+ introduces attack cooldown and the shield mechanic.
