For now the whitelist is disabled - whoever connects to the server gets added to the whitelist right away The world is surrounded by a barrier, so how do we survive? 3. Server rules 3.1 Griefing and cheating of any kind are prohibited on the server. 3.2 Within a 300-block radius of spawn, building is allowed according to zoning. In the trading zone, you may build your own shops by choosing one of the pre-allocated plots. Modern and medieval building zones exist so that the structures at spawn look cohesive with one another. Choose a style for your starter house and build it in the corresponding zone. These zones do NOT extend to the rest of the server. 3.3 Outside of spawn, you can build on any unclaimed territory. 3.4 To claim territory, you need to mark it with signs, campfires, posts - it doesn't matter how, the important thing is that other players notice it and understand that the spot is taken. 3.5 Situations where a player builds on already claimed territory are reviewed individually, since the fault may lie either with the one who did not mark the territory well enough or with the one who completely failed to notice the markers. 3.6 If the territory you claimed is quite large, you haven't built anything on it, and you haven't appeared on the server for several weeks (without notifying anyone), your territory may be declared unclaimed (before that you will most likely be asked about it in our Discord server). 3.7 Duping is prohibited on the server. The exception is the dragon egg, because it does not affect gameplay and is used as a cosmetic item, and geese (in the farm world), which dupe dynamite. 3.8 Item return in case of death is done only in exceptional cases, and only tools and armor are returned. 3.9 PepeLand is NOT a roleplay server! We don't mind if you roleplay, but only as long as it doesn't bother anyone. If roleplay clowning bothers someone, or is simply out of place, you may get banned. Here we do survival, creative building, construction, trading, and have a good time, but we do NOT do roleplay.

Frequently Asked Questions

A Minecraft server is a community-hosted multiplayer world running modes like Survival, SkyBlock, BedWars, Anarchy, RPG, Prison, or Creative. Owners customize gameplay through plugins (Spigot/Paper/Bukkit) or full mod packs (Forge/Fabric/NeoForge), from vanilla survival to fully custom MMORPG worlds.

The Minecraft catalog covers SkyBlock, BedWars, Survival (vanilla and semi-modded), Anarchy (no-rules PvP), RPG with custom classes and quests, Prison economy, Creative, Factions, and Towny. Filters let you narrow projects by mode, version, and Java or Bedrock platform.

The 2026 catalog currently lists 791 Minecraft projects whose availability is tracked by BestGames monitoring. You can filter the list by mode, version, and platform to quickly find a suitable server.

Decide the mode first: SkyBlock for economy and grind, BedWars for quick PvP, RPG for story-driven play, Anarchy for no-rules survival. Check version compatibility (1.16.5 and 1.12.2 for modpacks, 1.21.x and 26.x for current content) and the Java or Bedrock platform. Before registering, visit the project's Discord and ask about anticheat and donations.

Joining servers in the catalog is free. Projects in online-mode require a licensed Minecraft account; cracked-mode servers accept entry without a license check. Donor ranks usually grant cosmetics and convenience; selling combat advantage for money (pay-to-win) is a reason to be cautious.

Minecraft servers are generally low-risk: the protocol is sandboxed by your client. The main risks are scams (fake admins asking for account details), griefing, and unfair donations. Download the client and launcher only from official sources, never share your Microsoft account password, and check a project's reputation in its Discord.

Minecraft in 2026: A Game That Never Ages

More than 15 years since release and over 350 million copies sold — Minecraft remains the best-selling game in history. Mojang switched to the Game Drops system: instead of one big annual update, frequent themed drops ship throughout the year. In 2025 came Spring to Life (biome mob variants, the Firefly Bush), Chase the Skies (the tamable Happy Ghast you can fly with up to four players), The Copper Age (copper tools and the Copper Golem), and Mounts of Mayhem (the Spear weapon, the nautilus, and zombie horses as mounts). From 2026, Mojang introduced a new version numbering of the 26.x form instead of 1.x.

Server Cores Keep Up

Paper and Purpur already support the new numbering. Folia — Paper's engine with multithreaded region processing — is built for large servers and holds 200+ players without TPS drops when gameplay is spread across the map and plugins are compatible. Velocity replaced BungeeCord as the standard proxy for large networks. Fabric and NeoForge give modders tools that didn't exist a couple of years ago.

Why Servers, Not Realms?

Realms is convenient for playing with a handful of friends. But PvP leagues for hundreds of players, custom RPG worlds with quests, or rule-free anarchy need full servers: custom plugins, unique worlds, an economy, and events that vanilla doesn't have.

How to Choose a Minecraft Server and Not Regret It

There are hundreds of servers; new ones appear every day, old ones close quietly. Here is what to check when choosing.

Version and Platform — Check First

A Java Edition server won't accept a Bedrock player, and vice versa. Confirm the version: modpacks more often run on 1.16.5, 1.12.2, or 1.8.9, while current content runs on 1.21.x and 26.x. You can filter the catalog by version and platform; the most requested picks are 1.16.5 servers, 1.12.2 servers, and Bedrock servers for mobile.

License: Premium or Cracked

Some projects run in online-mode (a licensed Minecraft account is required), others in cracked mode, which you can join without a license check. This is a technical server setting, not a quality rating — pick the one that matches your client. Projects that skip the license check are collected under the cracked servers filter.

Donations: Pay-to-Win or Cosmetics

Fair donations are cosmetics, tags, and pets. A warning sign is selling combat advantage: Netherite armor, kits with elytra and enchanted gear for money. If a small payment grants a full combat loadout, the server's economy is probably broken.

Anticheat and Moderation

Without working anticheat, PvP loses its meaning: Kill Aura, Fly, and Reach quickly drive honest players away. Before registering, it's worth joining the project's Discord and asking which anticheat is installed, how fast bans happen, and whether appeals exist.
