A Lucky Block is a special block with a question mark that gives a random result when broken. It may be useful loot, a rare weapon, resources, potion effects — but also hostile mobs, traps or unpleasant surprises. Each block is a lottery: whether you will get lucky is unknown in advance. It is exactly this element of chance that sets Lucky Block apart from ordinary gathering and turns breaking blocks into an exciting activity with an unpredictable outcome.
Lucky Block exists in two forms. A mod (Forge or Fabric) — the original version, which requires installation on the client; lucky blocks appear in the world, can be crafted and give signature items such as special bows and swords. A plugin (Spigot, Paper, Purpur) — the server version, for which the client needs to install nothing: just join the server. As a minigame, Lucky Block most often runs in a race format: players on parallel tracks break blocks in a rush, gather random gear, then clash in a PvP fight. The winner is the one who got lucky with loot and made better use of it.
How to play Lucky Block
The gameplay is built on luck and speed. Breaking blocks — the player breaks lucky blocks and gets a random result. Randomness — both a strong weapon and a dangerous mob can drop. Gathering gear — gear for the fight is assembled from the loot that drops. Race format — players often compete over who builds up power faster.
