What is a private (claim) on a server?
It's a system to protect your builds. Most projects have shovel plugins or WorldEdit selection: select an area, and no one else can break blocks. Protects from griefers.
Do I need to download a client to play?
For regular Survival, a launcher with the right version is enough. But if the server is a modpack, you'll need to download from CurseForge or use a client supporting Forge or Fabric.
How do Paper and Purpur differ from Spigot?
Optimization. Vanilla core crashes at 30 players, Purpur handles over a hundred. They tweak mob AI calculations and Redstone algorithms for performance fixes.
Can I find a server without donate?
Fully free projects don't last long. But there are servers without donate affecting balance (Pay-to-Win). They sell prefixes, colored nicks, and emotes.
What does "Wipe" mean?
